The third annual West Hollywood Women’s Leadership Conference will take place from 8am-6pm on Saturday, March 21 at the Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave. You can register now online at www.weho.org/wlc.

This year’s conference, “Phenomenal Women: Creating a New Today,” will be an exciting, day-long event for women that will feature dynamic speakers, informative workshops, expert-led trainings, health screenings, job search skills and career coaching, a continental breakfast and gourmet lunch buffet at Wolfgang Puck’s.

Some of our speakers will include Dr. Cheryl Saban, founder of the Women’s Self-Worth Foundation and author; former First Lady of California and founder of SheVotes.org, Sharon Davis; Marie Da Silva, founder of the Jacaranda Foundation who was named one of CNN’s 2008 Heroes; Karmen Beck, managing director for the Sunset Strip Music Festival; Lisa Pinto, regional director for U.S. Representative Henry A. Waxman; Cathee Hughes and Linda Burstyn from the Feminist Majority and Fiona Walsh, CEO and founder of FM Walsh & Associates, Inc.  
Workshops will focus on Recession Lessons, personal and professional planning, health tips, communication skills, tools for business owners and mentorship.
Free child care will be available for children ages 5-12 (with registration submitted by 3-18). The child care will take place at West Hollywood Park, across from the Pacific Design Center.
Advance registration is $45 and strongly encouraged. Onsite registration will be $55, if available. The rate for seniors and students is $25. Parking at the PDC is $6. Group rates and scholarships are available.
